The second floor is going to be concrete-filled steel pan, in order to achieve the required fire barrier from the first floor parking area shown. The steel framing was later wrapped for fire protection. |
| The steel pan second floor has wire fabric reinforcing. The inner line of steel columns support most of the vertical loads, since the outer line of columns is just inside the property line. At far left, a beam is above the floor to permit proper head height at exit stairs below. |
